The German Rhm.-Borsig Waffenträger was a tank destroyer developed during World War II. It was a self-propelled gun based on the Panther II chassis. The weapon carrier was equipped with a powerful 12.8 cm PaK 44 L/55 gun, capable of engaging enemy tanks at long distances. Although the vehicle had impressive firepower, production ceased due to the end of the war and only a few examples were actually manufactured. The Rhm.-Borsig Waffenträger was an example of the advanced German tank technology developed during World War II and could potentially have played a significant role on the battlefield had it not been limited by the circumstances of the war.
